Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kibale

  • Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and meet your guide.
  • Drive to Kibale Forest National Park (approximately 5-6 hours).
  • Check in at your luxury lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale

  • Early breakfast before heading to Kibale Forest for your chimpanzee tracking adventure.

  • Spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees, observing their behavior and interactions.

  • In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetlands for birdwatching and primate spotting.

  • Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3: Visit Bigodi Wetlands – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

      • Explore Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary for more wildlife encounters and birdwatching.
      • After lunch, embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approximately 3-4 hours).
      • Check in at your lodge and enjoy an evening at leisure.
      • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth

  • Early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and more.
  • In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its hippo population and abundant birdlife.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Visit Batwa Community – Transfer to Bwindi

  • After breakfast, visit the Batwa community to learn about their unique culture and lifestyle.
  • Enjoy traditional dance performances and crafts.
  • Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (approximately 4-5 hours).
  • Check in at your lodge and relax.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

  • Early morning breakfast, followed by a briefing on the gorilla trekking experience.
  • Hike through Bwindi’s dense rainforest in search of a gorilla family.
  • Spend 1 hour with the gorillas, witnessing their social interactions and behavior.
  • Return to your lodge for lunch and an afternoon at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. 

Day 7: Optional Second Gorilla Trek or Cultural Activities

  • Choose to embark on a second gorilla trek (additional permit required) or engage in cultural activities.
  • Visit nearby communities, explore local markets, or enjoy traditional Ugandan cuisine.
  • Farewell dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 8: Visit Local Communities – Travel to Murchison Falls

  • After breakfast, visit local villages to experience Uganda’s diverse cultures.
  • Drive to Murchison Falls National Park (approximately 7-8 hours).
  • Check in at your lodge and enjoy the stunning views of the park.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

     

Day 9: Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls

  • Enjoy an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, and more.
  • In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can witness the dramatic falls.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 10: Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Travel to Lake Mburo

  • After breakfast, drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see Uganda’s only white rhinos.

  • Continue to Lake Mburo National Park (approximately 4-5 hours).

  • Check in at your lodge and enjoy an evening boat cruise on the lake.

  • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 11: Morning Game Drive in Lake Mburo – Return to Entebbe

  • After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, home to zebras, impalas, and topis.
  • Drive back to Entebbe (approximately 4-5 hours).
  • Optional stop at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or local market.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge near the airport or at the airport itself (depending on flight time).

Day 12: Departure from Entebbe

  • Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your international departure.

  • Bid farewell to Uganda after an unforgettable adventure!
